Our Story

EVEN IF YOU DON'T OWN A HOT ROD AT LEAST YOU CAN WEAR ONE.

If you're a lover of classic cars, like us, then you've come to the right place. Welcome to T-Bucket Tees. The new destination for all of your HOT ROD apparel and Accessory needs. My name is Jim and I'm the Owner, Designer and all around chief cook and bottle washer for this endeavor.

How many of us remember the first time hearing that wonderous, thunderous roar of our first hot rod? I do. I remember sitting on our front porch and seeing a long line of 30's and 40's and 50's classics in all shapes and colors go cruising by and seeing the 60's and early 70's muscle cars mixed in. From that moment on I was determined to get me one of those beauties. As it turns out I did. My dad and I found an old 50 Cadillac and brought it home. We didn't finish it but we did enough to get it back on the road and make some money. From there we just kept going. A 62 Buick was next, then a 54 Ford F-100 pickup, the love of my life. With each one my love for these vehicles just grew stronger and stronger. My latest project is a 63 Ranchero. An original 5 lug with a 302. It's in rough shape but it's all mine.

Along with my love of classic vehicles is an equally strong passion for art. I've been drawing since I can remember. I started with simple cartoons then moved into portraits and then into landscapes in oil. But my two passions, Hot Rods and Art collided when I was about 12 when I saw my first Car-Toons Magazine and the art of George Trosley and Ed Roth and "Rat Fink". From then on I either had a wrench, a pencil or a book in my hand. Man does not live by art and cars alone, you've got to have an education. Books and learning filled my mind, while Art and Hot Rods filled my soul
